Boat Rentals

Our rental boat is our original guide boat, we had it custom built for fishing on the west coast. Some of you may have fished on it already and know what it’s like, but for those of you who haven’t here are the details. She’s a 22ft aluminum boat powered by a 200hp Suzuki main and a 15hp kicker-both 4 strokes. It comes with VHF, radar, GPS, a chartplotter, sounder, 60” Scotty electric downriggers, two 150qt coolers, custom fishing seats, floor mats, all of your safety gear, and has an 80 gallon fuel capacity. We’ve used it for charter fishing for the last 4 years and it’s got all of the marks and hotspots for halibut and salmon right on the chartplotter. When you rent this boat our guides will keep in touch with you throughout the day, checking on how you are doing and giving you tips for what gear is working and will help you put more fish in the box. She cruises at about 22-25 depending on the conditions and is great setup for 4 people. There isn’t a better boat available to rent on Vancouver Island, anywhere, I’ve checked. You get the benefit of talking to guides and the privacy and experience of doing your own thing – for guys that already know how to fish it’s the best of both worlds. Add all of that to being moored right on the doorstep of some of the best fishing on Vancouver Island and you’ve got a great thing going. We’ll rent you the gear that you don’t have and all you need to do is get here and you’re ready to go fishing!

BOAT RENTAL RATES:

Full-day rentals - $400/day for up to 4 people.

Half-day rentals - $200/day for up to 4 people for the morning or evening bite.

Daily rentals are from 6:00 pm the night before until 3:30 pm the following day, the boat needs to be returned to the dock at Mills Landing by 3:30 pm at the end of the rental period.

Rods and fishing gear are available, call for details.
