I’ve fished Alaska, the Charlottes, River’s Inlet and Campbell River, and I’ve never caught fish like I did in July with you offshore. They weren’t the biggest fish that I’ve ever seen but lot’s of them were over 20 pounds, and when Troy and I stopped counting at 50 on day one...I thought who cares? My arm still hurts.

Thanks Brad for showing us some of the best salmon fishing that I’ve ever seen and put me down for next year, I can’t wait to come back. Awesome cottages too, you guys got a good thing going on.

Thanks Brad for the truly great time you showed us at Mills Landing. I’ve done a lot fishing over the last 20 years and this trip is definitely in the top 5. The halibut fishing was great, and the salmon fishing goes without saying…busy! We really enjoyed the privacy of the cottages and having your own space is a nice change from the lodge program, we cheffed it up on your big BBQ every night!

Brad, when we came up in September to go fishing in Bamfield I didn’t know what to expect. We are used to fishing salmon down in Oregon, and we got out for halibut sometimes, but it’s so much work and so far to go that we hardly ever do it. Unfortunately there’s not as many salmon as there used to be, and we don’t seem to get very many openings to try for them.

When you took us fishing offshore for both salmon and halibut that really blew my mind. We had a fish on one side of the boat before the other downrigger was even down, and it seemed to go like that all day. People don’t believe me that we had to take the gear out of the water just to have lunch! And when we LIMITED OUT salmon fishing, and switched over to halibut fishing almost in the same spot I couldn’t believe it. Boom within 30 minutes we had 3 halibut in the boat. AWESOME FISHING Brad, thanks so much and we will definitely be back next year…with more people!

Hi Brad, thanks so much for taking us two non-fishing Calgarians out on the big Pacific. We feel like real fishermen now, and I think that next year you can just drive the boat and we’ll run things at the back! Claire had a great time, and I do have to say she wasn’t sure if she’d be up for it, but she sure showed us with the biggest fish of the day! Brad, when I arrived in Bamfield and you were loading my gear into the boat there were a couple of guys on the dock asking what I was up to. I told them I had just flown in from New York, and jokingly said that I was going fishing with the best guide in town. Well after going out the next day and catching our limit of halibut in one of your secret spots I quickly thought that this wasn’t a joke…you’re one of the best guides that I’ve been out with. Thanks for the great time, and I’ll try to get back up there someday.
